Living is Joy Enough

it's not that I haven't been creative while I've been away from my blog...we've recently completed remodeling our home and girl oh, girls...the decisions, colors, choices, compromises I've made! Now for months, my art 'studio' was buried as you might imagine with work taking place in every room, on every surface. I'm slowly getting back in the swing of my creative life. And the Free for All today on SCS and Pam's Peep-A-Boo challenge at 365 Cards were to use the inside of your card as the fancy showy part.
I think Emily Dickinson's (Wordsworth) quote about living was the perfect launch! Thanks so much for stopping by and I'd love to hear about your joy.

I really like the amount of white space on the front, and the feeling of light breaking across the sky inside the door - reminds me so much of the type of sky you get over the sea!
No worries, it's a bird winging, not a gastropod crawling, it's way across to you. I have to admit that I resort to slug pellets, because I do not put all that effort into raising things from seed to have them eaten.

:) That door is spectacular, and I love the sentiment...and that you've put it on an angle to match the rays of light. I'm so glad you're back in blogland!

It's great to see you are "back"! I have been checking often and wondering if you had stopped blogging for good. How great it was just due to remodeling. That's a lot do deal with, I know- but I am sure it's all been well worth it. I love your card and am looking forward to seeing more from you in the future. Your work is always so beautiful!
