oh, happy day~o

Hope you'll have time for a coffee story, as my card celebrates the liquid for today's Inspiration Challenge. I grew up on French Roast in the can blended with Chicory...from the Cafe du Monde in New Orleans.  I thought it was the most sophisticated coffee around until I ended up in coffee lovers paradise, Seattle! In the early days of the 'buck, they would conduct coffee colleges, where you would attend for three nights and discover  all the ends and outs of coffee growing, roasting, and of course the sexy, streamline machines that brought forth the espresso I had grown to adore! They taught about perfect pours and three layers and oh the crema...not to mention the smell...well, 15 years and 3 espresso machines later, I still enjoy the ritual of morning cappuccinos with my DH.  He's strictly a latte man which leaves all the foam for me! Oh I love it when it's a win for both of us!!!  I've stepped up over the years to a more expensive machine, but mine, RED, like a sleek Italian sports car just hums when I prime the pump...life's simple pleasures!

So tell me about you, are you a coffee snob or a tea drinker?  Do you have a ritual you would share, I'd love to hear.

Hi Susan, I thought I would pop by and say hi! Oh My three expresso machines, I must admit even though I am Italian I can't do expresso, It's Eight O'Clock coffee in the Bunn because I need my coffee fast!

Aha...I'm a coffee-lover...I wish that I would have taken some of those Starbuck college classes...most of my friends have converted to tea...it just isn't the same for me. I always brew a pot for me to sip on while I blurf in the early hours of the morning...I drink way tooo much of the stuff but can't live without it. Such a FUN card you've created...

Love your coffee drinking couple Susan - funny you should ask for a story - just bought DH a Keurig coffee maker for his b'day - and we are working our way through the hundreds of kinds of coffee you can get in their 'K cups'. I'm sort of all over the charts with my preferences - I like Latte's, teas, flavored coffees - and I'm supposed to only have Decaf - but those are pretty bad. (!) why is everything that tastes good - bad???

What a fun card!!! I love coffee in the morning and tea at night. I love a deep rich coffee with milk. I love to taste coffees every place I visit. My favorites so far have been Germany, Belgium, and Costa Rica. The coffee here in Korea is pretty good too. My favorite tea is chai - any color - with milk. Mmmmm....

Hugs, Jami

Susan, unfortunately, this is my first visit to your blog. Since my cards take forever to create, I never have time leftover to stop by blogs and get to know my favorite people better. Yes, I'm a starbucks fan, for sure. I am now the proud owner of a barrista machine that makes wild lattes, carmel to be specfic. John and I have our lattes every morning while we see who can finish the daily jumble. It's the only time we have to talk before the day gets its start. Many years ago, while sightseeing Seattle, I fell in love with millstone coffee over dinner. From that point forward, we have been major lovers of those lattes. this time though, it's only starbucks for us! enjoy your day! Anne
