So it was all the going through and remembering that inspired me to trace Andy's hand as the New Year began and find his handprint drawn when he was three years old. A dozen years difference...time does fly. I could hardly believe my eyes when I laid the acetate layer over the paper striped hand of my 15 year old!
The papers are various Cosmo Cricket and Basic Grey in the colors of the mitten. I used Invoke Arts' time flies sentiment and the flying pocket watch. The letters to spell out Andy's name are 'A B Seas' set of alphas from Authentic Models. The hand is mounted onto an 8x8 Cosmo Cricket and will go into a scrapbook.
Thanks for much for stopping by. It's a new year, fresh beginnings...
Be blessed.

What a GREAT page! So very clever and so very meaningful. It will surely make a terrific (and special) addition to your album. Wonderfully done!
This is fabulous, Susan! So much fun to have that memory! :)
Hey Susan! What a memorable approach to this week's Tuesday Trigger in the Moxie Fab World! I'm so glad you joined in on all the fun! :)
Susan, this is a fabulous layout and such a great memory for your son!
What a lovely take on the challenge; and a trip down to memory lane....Time flies!!!
I love it when a project is filled with precious memories of the childhood of your children. Beautiful!
Have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
Stella
As always, lovely work with real meaning. Your striped glove really does carry the feeling of those knitted ones. Shame I couldn't find anything that nice when I was looking for gloves while shopping at the weekend. And I have too much other knitting to catch up with to consider taking gloves on - the weather would have warmed up before I'd have got there.
C says thank you for your prayers for us. He says he is going into this new year with faith and hope.
What a touching creation!! Time DOES fly. You did an awesome job with the Moxie Fab inspiration. :)
